BIRDYFISH HISTORY

The idea for BirdyFish was born in 2016 at the EIGSI engineering school in La Rochelle, France. Pierre Rhimbault,
Alban Satgé, and other students designed a foiling dinghy for a school project.


After graduating, Jean-Baptiste Morin, who had competed in match racing with Pierre, joined them. The project began to
take shape.


In September 2018, they founded BirdyFish together and launched the first boat in 2019.
